Motivation:

Staying motivated in your business is probably the hardest part of running, starting, and keeping a business. Many people may think the hardest part is the logistics; however, since starting my own, by far the most challenging part has been motivation.

Have you been struggling to stay motivated lately?

Don’t beat yourself about it, we all struggle with this on a daily basis.  Even the most successful business owners struggle with it even after success. Motivation is definitely something that comes and goes day to day.

You will feel on top of the world one day ready to accomplish everything life throws your way and other days you sit there questioning yourself.  Is this even worth it?

Well, let me tell you it is all going to be worth it and I want to share 6 tips to help you reach your goals and stay motivated. These have helped me and I hope they help you too!

1. Know your why and where

Picture yourself when you have reached your goal, what does your day look like? What are you wearing? How do you speak? Are you more confident? Do you have the life you have always wanted?

Just seeing the big picture, the light at the end of the tunnel, will help push you to keep that motivation going!

2. Make sure you are taking action every single day

One of the most important things you can do is track your progress, this is so you can have something tangible to evaluate your days, weeks, months, and even years.

This is super important because this will show you how much you have grown, what has worked and what has not so you are not constantly running in circles and assure you are always taking steps in the right direction.

This will really show you that you don’t have to move mountains every single day AND simply showing up adds up to progress as well.

3. Work on yourself

Remember 90% of your business is you! You can have all the skillset but if you don’t believe in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals you will not get there. Work on your confidence because trust me you can do it and you will!

4. Get coaching or mentoring

I have said this and I will continue to say it.  The people and the atmosphere you surround yourself with will directly impact your business. Surround yourself with the people that have gone through what you are going through and are in the position that you aspire to be in. Have someone to guide you and make you accountable in your business.   I have to be honest we all need that extra support!😉  Remember, even the top-performing athletes have a coach to continue to hone their skills.

5. Create systems

You need to create a system that is going to train your team so that when you bring new members on board you are not having to spend all of your time training and coaching, but simply supporting. This will free up your time to focus on other aspects of your business to make you thrive!

6. Be coachable

The reason you always hear “be coachable” everywhere you turn is that it’s a very important skill to have.

In the world of business, you have to learn to adapt, take things as they come, and be willing to change anything that is not working. Remember doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity 😱

Motivation is something we all want to have 24/7 but unfortunately, that is not the case we are all human and this happens even to the best of us. I hope you found these tips as useful as I did and challenge you to put them into action!
