Your Road Map To Boss Your Live Content Creation🎥

There is no doubt that social media has become a crucial part of building a successful online business. Whether you are selling a product or a service, social media is an invaluable tool for building connections, engaging with your audience, and growing a brand.

One of the most powerful ways to connect to your audience authentically is going live on your social media channels. This was one of the aspects of social media that I had the most trouble with but I have compiled a list of tips that will help you show up in your lives like a pro!

Before you go live:

1. Plan with Purpose-

Before hitting the live button, plan your live with a clear goal in mind. Think about what you would like to talk about and who you want this content to resonate with.

2. Promote in Advance-

Build anticipation for your  live sessions by promoting ahead of time. You can also create a life event where you can personally send each of your followers an invitation.

3. Optimize the Tech-

It is important that you test out all your tech before actually going live. Check your internet connection, camera, and microphone, and make sure everything is connected properly. Trust me you DO NOT want to wing it,  you will make things more stressful than they need to be. This will also allow you to ask for help!

4. Prepare Your Content-

While you don’t want to go off a script it is good to create an outline or a guide. This will help you stay on track and hit all your key points.

During & After Going Live:

1 Engage-

Going live is not just about talking to your audience, it is an interactive experience and a way for your audience to feel more connected to you and interact in real-time. Encourage your audience to ask questions and share their thoughts on specific topics.

2 Utilize The Live Features-

Using polls. stickers, or even screen-sharing presentations will help your audience engage.

3 Consistency is key-

I think this is probably the most important of all CONSISTENCY! The more you go live the more you will figure out what works for you and your audience as well as what you might need extra help with.

4 Repurpose Your Content-

This is something that often gets left on the table, after your live you can cut it into shorter clips and use it for Reels and TikToks. You can also transcribe your video and use it for emails, newsletters, and even social media posts.

I hope these tips were useful to you and will help you feel a bit more confident in your next live. Don’t forget to let me know your thoughts.

Staying motivated in your business is probably the hardest part of running, starting, and keeping a business. Many people may think the hardest part is the logistics; however, since starting my own, by far the most challenging part has been motivation.
